A drink that tans without the sun

A beautiful tan thanks to a homemade drink rich in beta-carotene.

This year, a beautiful tan may be less obvious if you haven’t been on vacation, or if you’ve been looking for a more active holiday than sunbathing. But there is a solution to become golden even without a ray of sunshine. To do this, you just need to provide the body with beta-carotene. Instead of nutritional supplements, you can make a juice that is in vogue this summer: juice for sunbathing.

It is made from sweet potatoes (which contain 10,500 micrograms of beta-carotene per 100 grams, a record!) and boiled carrots (more than 8,700 micrograms per 100 grams). These two foods, which are usually prepared salty, have a sweet taste that pairs very well with fruit.

We pledge to drink it 4 times a week, and little by little a beautiful tan will appear on the whole body, just in time for the start of the school year.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup boiled sweet potatoes
  • ¼ fresh mango
  • 175 ml organic carrot juice
  • Large orange juice

Recipe of dish

Cut the sweet potato in half. Pierce the skin with a fork and bake (cut in half) for 40 minutes at 180 degrees. Do not add salt or pepper. However, you can add a teaspoon of coconut oil (fat accelerates the absorption of beta-carotene)

Add all ingredients to blender, increasing speed gradually / Serve in a tall glass and enjoy chilled!

Adviсe

  • It is better to do this every day to keep all the nutrients and vitamins.
  • For express cooking sweet potatoes, moisten two parts and place them in a bowl with a bottom of water. Then microwave them twice for 3 minutes.
  • You can supplement this juice with strips of dried apricots: this fruit contains over 2000 micrograms of beta-carotene per 100 grams!
