Breakfast: the engine of your day

Too often we forget that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It provides the body with a quarter of the energy needed during the day. By neglecting this important step, you expose yourself to bouts of hypoglycemia, trouble concentrating, feeling tired and uncomfortable.

If you start the day with energy in your body, it will give you an advantage in the success of your activities and especially for your daily well-being. By preparing breakfast in the evening or on the weekend, you will save a lot of time as soon as you wake up. You’ll be able to get a few extra minutes of sleep, you might even have time to do some yoga or even get some fresh air in your area to start your day in better shape than ever!

How does this happen? Before you get started, just ask yourself a few questions: What are my busiest days of the week? How many servings should I plan? When you answer all these questions, you can choose your menu for the week. To maximize your time and avoid wastage, we favor the same ingredient base. If you don’t use all your bread and fruit, you can freeze them and take them the day before to eat the next day.

Some preliminary preparations and daily meals are to be expected. Healthy ingredients for a balanced breakfast that can be enjoyed by the whole family or at work. Fruit salads, muesli, bread, grapefruit juice (which has excellent antioxidant properties) and red fruit smoothies – no limits! Innovation and have fun! Here are three healthy, easy-to-make breakfast ideas.
