If we listen to our mothers and grandmothers, the kitchen is the source of everything. From headaches to burns, from acne to dry skin, the kitchen has something to heal. We all know the beauty benefits of turmeric and coconut oil, but have you ever considered using baking soda?
Do you have oily skin? Is your soap or laundry detergent not cleaning your skin properly? Or find it difficult to remove oiliness after applying body lotion or massage oil? Baking soda can be a lifesaver for oily skin. Take a spoonful of baking soda, mix it with water, apply it on your skin and rub it gently. Wash with warm water and continue with basic cleaning. You can increase or decrease the quantity according to your needs.
Do you want to get rid of that tan? Baking soda can do this without harming your skin. Mix some baking soda with lemon juice and apply it on your skin.
If you have dry skin. Mix baking soda with water and follow the same process. It’s a great way to get rid of sun spots or even out your complexion.
Use it as a dry shampoo
Dry shampoo is useful when you don’t have time to wash your hair and you need to clean it urgently. But what if you run out of dry shampoo? Reach for the baking soda!
Take a tablespoon of baking soda and mix it with a little sugar-free cocoa powder and apply it to your hair. Voila, fresh hair like never before (not literally, but yeah, close enough).
